Pricing

You pay only if the assessed value goes down. The fee is a share of the first year's tax savings. These are all of our prices. What we do and what it costs, on one page (PDF).

Our fee, as a share of the first year's tax savings
RateFeeWhen it applies
Standard25% Every appeal, unless a lower rate below applies.
Volume20% Every appeal (hotels too) when your group of companies has 6 or more appeals filed in the same season. Each property and each appealed year counts as one appeal.
Founding20% Your first 2 properties, if you are one of the first 20 owner groups who agree to take reference calls from other owners (or until 40 properties in total). For 2027 season appeals only. Places left today: 20 of 20 owner groups (40 of 40 properties).
Escalated to an attorney15% For any appealed year that goes to an attorney (the Indiana Board of Tax Review or the Tax Court). The attorney works under their own agreement with you.

If more than one rate applies, the lowest rate applies. The fee agreement you sign states your rate. The signed fee agreement is what counts.

What you never pay

How we calculate savings

Savings for an appealed year = (the assessed value on the Form 11 notice minus the final assessed value) times the effective tax rate for that year's pay year, from the actual tax bill.

Our representative confirms the numbers. The fee is charged once for each appealed year, on the first year of taxes that the decision affects. Each official decision gets its own invoice, with a copy of the decision attached.

The effective tax rate can be higher than 3% of assessed value. Indiana caps most property tax on this kind of property at 3% of gross assessed value, but taxes approved by voters in a referendum are outside that cap.

Withdrawing and cancelling

You can withdraw an appeal before the preliminary informal meeting with the assessor. You can cancel at any time from the link in any of our emails; cancellation takes effect immediately for every parcel not yet filed. Withdrawing or cancelling does not create a fee.

Example

This example uses made-up round numbers. It is not an estimate for any property.

The assessed value goes down by $200,000. The tax rate is 3%. The first year's tax savings are $200,000 × 3% = $6,000.

Fee on $6,000 of first-year savings
RateOur feeYou keep (first year)
Standard (25%)$1,500$4,500
Volume or founding (20%)$1,200$4,800
Escalated to an attorney (15%)$900$5,100

If the value does not go down, the fee is $0. An appeal can also end with a higher value. Then your tax goes up, and there is no fee.
